In the Washington Examiner, Tony Radoszewski advocated for "serious, bipartisan policy discussion" over "activist-driven, partisan policies" when dealing with the problem of waste reduction. He called for a unified approach including federal recycling infrastructure investment and a privately-funded, industry-led extended producer responsibility plan encompassing the plastic, paper, glass and metal industries.
BASF isn’t waiting for the next generation of plastics pros to show up at the door. They’re inviting them in with a very appealing program that pays for school while also providing a paying job. They plan to have 30 students working by year's end, nationwide. The program made the news in Michigan recently.
