PLASTICS Delivers Resin Tax Objections on Behalf of Companies Throughout the Plastics Industry 

Sixty-seven companies from throughout the plastics value chain joined PLASTICS in a letter to Congress, raising concerns about a proposed 20-cents-per-pound tax on virgin resin.  In addition to increased costs and reduced U.S. manufacturing competitiveness, the letter also cited a lack of expert analysis and public debate.
