Most recently with an editorial defending recycling, plainspoken criticism of a Michael Bloomberg initiative designed to cripple plastics and petrochemicals, and a statement expressing appreciation for California Governor, Gavin Newsom's veto of PCR mandate legislation. 

PLASTICS Fall Meeting Highlights

Keeping Waste Out of the Environment

The PLASTICS Fall Meeting kicked off with PLASTICS walking the walk on environmental concern. Organized by the FLiP (Future Leaders in Plastics) Community Impact Task Group, PLASTICS members and meeting attendees joined Asheville, North Carolina based organization RiverLink in a clean-up at River Bend Park along the Swannanoa River. Over 32 bags of trash and 16 bags of recycled materials, estimated at more than 800 pounds, were collected. Very special thanks to supporting partner Plastics Technology, and contributing sponsors, Plastics News, Plastics Machinery & Manufacturing, SEPRO America, and the PLASTICS Equipment Council.

Keynote Perspective from A.B. Stoddard

The 2022 Fall Meeting featured an address by A.B. Stoddard, of RealClearPolitics and SiriusXM’s POTUS channel, in which she offered a compelling perspective on the current political landscape. PLASTICS Releases the 2022 Size and Impact Report at Live Event

On September 14, PLASTICS hosted a live, executive briefing webcast introducing the PLASTICS 2022 Size and Impact report. Participating were (left to right) Matt Seaholm (President and CEO), Dr. Perc Pineda (Chief Economist), and Stephanie Polis (Vice President, Communications).
