In conjunction with the release of our latest Recycling is Real video featuring PQ Recycling of Farmingdale, NY, PLASTICS' President and CEO, Matt Seaholm published an op-ed in Long Island's Newsday newspaper. The piece notes the accomplishments of PQ Recycling and outlines how industry and government can work together to increase  recycling rates in New York and beyond, giving companies like PQ more material to recycle and put back into the circular economy. Matt includes, "New York is overdue for sound EPR policy that funds infrastructure improvement, creates end markets for recyclable material, and supports promising new recycling technologies. Let’s work together and craft great, effective legislation that actually gets us where we need to go."
