The Plastics Industry Association published a report by environmental scientist, Kenneth Green, that debunks activist claims about plastic. “Too often we see groups criticize plastics using unscientific information," said Tony Radoszewski, our President and CEO, in a released statement "The report released today summarizes what data has indicated for years: plastic is lighter and more durable than alternatives, and it has a smaller environmental footprint."
Materials supplier Ravago SA is working with renewable energy firm Neste to build an advanced recycling plant in the Netherlands with an annual processing capacity of about 55,000 tons of mixed plastic waste.
Cadence Announces Expansion in Pennsylvania
Medical device company, Cadence Inc., announced a 21,000 sq. ft. expansion, expected to be completed in March of 2022. the company is "thrilled to be able to grow and support our customers’ requirements.”
