2022 Recycling Committee Meeting
Representatives from 29 PLASTICS member companies gathered in Allentown, PA for the 2022 PLASTICS Recycling Committee Meeting—three days of informative presentations and productive discussions. Day 3 of the meeting featured a tour of Ultra-Poly Corp. in Portland, PA. Other highlights of the three-day event:
A tour of the 75,000 square foot J.P Mascaro & Sons‘ TotalRecycle facility in Birdsboro, PA
Discussions led by Conor Carlin, of Illig North America and the Society of Plastics Engineers, focused on attracting and retaining employees
Emily Friedman of ICIS sharing a market update for commodity plastics and progress by companies in building advanced recycling facilities.
