♻️ Recycling is Real—And Happening Every Day

Despite what some may say, recycling is happening every day, and the Recycling is Real campaign is making sure people know it.

The Plastics Industry Association (PLASTICS) has released a new video in its Recycling Is Real series, this time highlighting the impressive recycling operations at Plastipak and Clean Tech’s facility in Plymouth, Michigan. At this site, more than 500 million pounds of plastic are recycled annually—transforming used plastic bottles into new packaging that meets food-grade standards.

The video reinforces that large-scale plastics recycling is already happening every day in the U.S.—delivering measurable environmental benefits, creating local jobs, and supporting a stronger circular economy.
