In April 2020, plastics manufacturing employment decreased to 531,200 from 592,100 in March based on estimates from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. In May this year, the total number of employees in plastic products manufacturing increased to 589,200. While the gap is closing, manufacturing employment is still 2,900 short of March last year. Each year, The Plastics Industry Association (PLASTICS)releases a plastics industry-wide business sentiment survey to create our PLASTICS Industry Annual Business Outlook. We pride ourselves on providing members and non-members with perspective on the entire plastics ecosystem.
We achieved interesting economic insight as always and would like to provide you with the Plastics Industry Annual Business Outlook.
Participants will interact with long-time recyclers as well as with entrepreneurs who are pushing the envelope of carpet recycling technology. Sessions will be of interest to equipment suppliers as well as those interested in feedstocks. There will be ample time for networking.
